Jordan Graff is a contemporary artist blacksmith and the owner/operator of IRON BELLE METAL DESIGN. Jordan was born and raised on the east side of Cincinnati, OH. He grew up working on various hotrod and motorcycle projects with his father, and that was the initial spark of Jordan’s passion in metal arts. He received his Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of Cincinnati in 2009 but always dreamt of creating art.

While in college he gained modern fabrication skills while working as a professional TIG welder and spending time in several machine shops. During these years he found blacksmithing, and everything changed. By studying the way things where made before modern machining and welding, Jordan had an entirely new outlook on metal and metalwork in general. This was when he realized that this craft can be used as his vehicle of self-expression.

During the forging process, steels and other metals can be formed and moved, just like clay. Apply heat, force, and creativity, and metal is no longer a hard, immobile, emotionless material.  Metal becomes soft, dynamic, and full of life. Now as a professional artist, metalworker and business owner, his motivation is the urge to create work that expresses his ideas of art, beauty and life.
